What is Homebuyer and Home Ownership Education?

C.E.F.S. is a HUD Approved Housing Counseling Agency and offers several workshops to meet the needs of participants in all stages of the home buying and home ownership process.  Workshops covering financial and student needs are also available.  C.E.F.S. provides homebuyers/home owners education and a certificate required by many lenders.  

 

Homebuyer Education Workshops review the topics of qualifying for a home loan, house hunting, finding a lender, and being a home owner.  This workshop meets the criteria for the training required by many lenders for first time homebuyers.  A certificate will be provided at the completion of the course.  No fee.

Financial Capabilities Workshops provide participants with the skills to better manage or maximize their funds, credit, and savings.  No fee.
