General Eligibility Requirements

• Resident of one of the Illinois counties of Clark, Clay, Coles, Crawford, Cumberland, Edgar, Effingham, Fayette, Jasper, Lawrence, Marion, Moultrie, or Richland

• 18 years of age or older

• Compliant with Selective Service requirement

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Priority will be given to US Veterans

• Laid off or terminated and are eligible for or have exhausted entitlement to unemployment insurance

• Are unemployed as a result of a business closing

• Displaced homemaker

• Formerly self-employed

• Spouse of a member of Armed Forces serving on active duty who has experienced a loss of employment due to relocation or is unemployed and experiencing difficulty in obtaining or upgrading employment
