PROGRAM OBJECTIVE is to secure and retain employment at self-sufficient level


Dislocated Worker Eligibility Requirements

 

Resident of one of the Illinois counties of Clark, Clay, Coles, Crawford, Cumberland, Douglas, Edgar, Effingham, Fayette, Jasper, Lawrence, Marion, Moultrie, or Richland

18 years of age or older
Compliant with Selective Service requirement
Authorized to work in the United States
Priority will be given to veterans
Laid off or terminated and are eligible for or have exhausted entitlement to unemployment insurance
Are unemployed as a result of a business closing
Displaced homemaker
Formerly self-employed
Spouse of a member of Armed Forces serving on active duty who has experienced a loss of employment due to relocation or is unemployed and experiencing difficulty in obtaining or upgrading employment
